Dr Anna Powell is Research Assistant in Contemporary Art in the School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Huddersfield. Her previous roles have included teaching modules on contemporary art, the museum and the English country house at the University of Leeds, and supporting the development of education resources for Leeds Art Gallery. She has also managed projects for a variety of heritage, arts and STEM organisations. Her research explores the relationships between artwork, curatorial practice and audience, in relation to both interpretation and public engagement.
